The effectiveness of any security system can be measured by how quickly and accurately the monitoring center responds to your alarm signal. Critical if you are in need of help in most cases we are making a call to your home or business within 60 seconds from the receipt of an alarm. Our monitoring service is provided locally so you’re not just a number and our customers enjoy the personal level of attention they receive.
How Monitoring Works:
Today alarm signals from your home or business can be transmitted to the monitoring center through standard telephone lines, digital cellular network or over your high speed internet service. Once an alarm signal is received action is taken based on the type of alarm condition. For instance if we receive a panic or holdup alarm we would contact the responding police department immediately whereas in the case of an intrusion alarm we would call your home or business first to determine if the alarm is valid before dispatching the police. Once an agency has been dispatched we will notify a contact on your personal emergency contact list defined by you at time of activation.
Our response procedure can be tailored based on the type of equipment you have installed in your home. As an option we offer a temperature monitor sensor for people traveling during winter months. This monitor detects low temperature inside the home indicating possible furnace failure. Your personal emergency contact list can be customized to include a key holder and furnace repair company to be notified for you in your absence if this alarm condition is received.
